Company History
Foundation
Sand One Holdings Limited was formed and registered in the UAE Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) under Registration No. 169363 on 23 December 2014. The registered office was established at Al Masraf Tower, Dubai.
Operations Begin
The company commenced its core business of worldwide commercial chartering, establishing initial trade routes and building relationships with key charterers and cargo owners.
Fleet Expansion
Strategic investments in modern bulk carrier tonnage strengthened the fleet, enabling Sand One to serve a broader range of global trade lanes and cargo requirements.
A Turning Point
Exceptional market rates allowed Sand One to recoup its fleet investment faster than anticipated. Operating debt-free, the company reinvested earnings directly into the business, strengthening its position and setting the stage for the next phase of growth.

Sand One Holdings Limited operates a fleet of handysize bulk carriers (25,000–35,000 DWT) engaged in worldwide commercial chartering. All vessels are managed by RIX Shipmanagement, ensuring the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

Time Chartering
Flexible time charter arrangements providing charterers with operational control of modern, well-maintained bulk carriers.
Safety & Compliance

Our fleet is managed by RIX Shipmanagement, a next-generation ship management company founded in 2013.

All vessels under RIX management are certified under the ISM Code, ISPS Code, and ILO Maritime Labour Convention, with classification by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
